More Traffic = More Money: 3 Ways Article Syndication Can Boost Traffic

More Traffic = More Money

How do you get more traffic to your website or blog?

Lately I have been researching different ways to increase traffic.  Today I would like to highlight a method Scott Fox details in his book e-Riches 2.0 called “online article syndication.”

How does it work?  You write a 500–700 word article (on average) and submit it to one of these sites:

(Do a search for “online article syndication services” for more sites.  Go to Scottfox.com for more details and the latest recommendations from him).

Once your articles have been submitted/approved, the syndication services make your article(s) out on the web for a large number of potential customers to read.

Conveniently, these services will allow you to make limited reference in your articles to your product/service as well as your biographical information and a link to your website.

This not only piques interest of customers to find out who you are by viewing your site.  It also gives you valuable backlinks from well-established websites (the syndication sites themselves).  Thus establishing credibility with search engines and helps your site to get a higher ranking.

So, to summarize, online article syndication helps you build traffic to your site in at least three ways:

  1. It gets your name out there and builds your credibility as an expert in your field.  People find out more about you and easily find you.
  2. It educates people about your product/service and helps them associate, through organic publicity, your “brand” with your product/service.
  3. It gives you more backlinks so that search engines rank you higher and more people see you when they search.

This is definitely something to check out for building your traffic-based revenue!
