The Most Popular Article Directories to Generate Traffic (and Money)

Recently, I have been read­ing a book called Your Inter­net Cash Machine: The Insid­ers Guide to Mak­ing Big Money, Fast! by Joe Vitale and Jil­lian Cole­man Wheeler.  There are a lot of good ideas for mak­ing money in this book.  One of the good ideas they have is tech­niques for writ­ing arti­cles to gen­er­ate traf­fic to your site, as I have pre­vi­ously dis­cussed as well.

They point that the way to find arti­cles sites is by search­ing for “arti­cle direc­to­ries”.   In search­ing Google for “arti­cle direc­to­ries”, I found a fas­ci­nat­ing site called vretoolbar.com that, among other fea­tures that look inter­est­ing,  lists the top sites for sub­mit­ting arti­cles.  Accord­ing to them, here are the top sites sorted by Google Page Rank.

I rec­om­mend mak­ing sure you have up to date antivirus soft­ware on your com­puter before search­ing for arti­cle sub­mis­sion sites out there as I received a virus alert just nav­i­gat­ing to one of the top arti­cle sites.  (Need­less to say, I removed it from the list above).

I noticed that articledashboard.com has soft­ware that will make it pos­si­ble to cre­ate your own arti­cle direc­tory site avail­able here.    An intrigu­ing way to make money that you may want to check out at your leisure.

If you don’t want to write your own arti­cles, Joe Vitale also rec­om­mends check­ing out rentacoder.com to find excel­lent writ­ers avail­able for writ­ing arti­cles at an afford­able rate.

Remem­ber, on these arti­cle sites you can build cred­i­bil­ity as an expert in your niche and get links to your site to build traf­fic and (hope­fully) gen­er­ate cash from your web site.
